The Shariah-compliant crypto exchange says its charity ecosystem is bringing Islamic values, digital finance, and direct aid together.
April 15, 2026 Quan2um, a Shariah-compliant crypto exchange built for the Muslim community, announced that it has distributed $30,000 worth of crypto to families in need since January 2026. The support has been delivered through zakat and sadaqah, showing how blockchain infrastructure can be used for direct charitable impact.
The charity initiative is part of Quan2um’s broader mission to combine Islamic values, modern technology, and practical help for people who need it most. Part of the current aid distribution is directed to families in Nigeria, and the related transfers can be checked on the blockchain. The company says its digital model is helping route zakat and sadaqah to thousands of people in a faster and more transparent format.
Unlike many crypto projects that focus only on trading, Quan2um positions charitable giving as a core part of its ecosystem. The initiative runs on the project’s own blockchain infrastructure, Bitcoin Additional ($BTCA), while the native token $QNTM plays a central role across the wider Quan2um ecosystem.
“We want zakat and sadaqah to actually reach those who need it through our platform. Blockchain helps us make this process transparent, direct, and more trustworthy,” noted a representative of Quan2um.
Since the start of 2024, Quan2um has focused on scaling charitable distribution while expanding awareness of its wider ecosystem. The company says the next phase includes broader outreach, faster aid delivery, and continued development around $BTCA and $QNTM.
